Design & Development
Strong CAD modeling, difficult lines, sculptural forms, and high-jewelry-level project development are central to the way I work.
About
I am an art jeweler focused on bespoke commissions, complex design development, and high-precision execution in metal.
My strength is the combination of design thinking, deep CAD experience, and a production-level understanding of how a piece has to behave once it leaves the screen and becomes real.
I work independently, without a large team and without volume production. Every piece is developed with close attention to line, proportion, construction, and the accuracy of the final stone setting.
I specialize in pieces that demand exact design development: complex silhouettes, precise transitions, controlled proportions, diamond work, and constructions that have to succeed not only visually, but structurally.
Because I handle the work myself, the project is resolved early and accurately. I think through the geometry, technical behavior, setting logic, and final finish before the piece reaches metal, which leads to stronger first results and fewer compromises during production.
I do not work in a factory mindset. If a diamond line needs to be cut and refined properly in metal, that is how it is done. The goal is not to imitate quality. The goal is to build it honestly.
Strong CAD modeling, difficult lines, sculptural forms, and high-jewelry-level project development are central to the way I work.
Stone setting, proportions, surface transitions, and construction details are treated as core parts of the design, not as secondary finishing steps.
This is a small, selective practice. I work directly with private clients and do not approach jewelry as anonymous or high-volume production.
A piece should remain convincing under close inspection: in its lines, in its structure, and in the way the stones are actually seated in metal.
I have more than ten years of experience across the full jewelry path, from workshop assistance and hands-on bench work to product development and leading design projection teams in manufacturing.
I hold a Master's degree in jewelry production technology, completed an internship in Italy, worked in product design departments at large manufacturers, and later led a projection team focused on new product development.
Since 2021 I have been working with private clients in Portugal. I live and work in Cascais, where I continue to develop bespoke commissions as well as a growing body of more personal work.
Today my main work is bespoke commission-based. At the same time, I am increasingly focused on developing stronger authorial pieces and special projects that reflect my own design language more directly.
The common thread is the same: disciplined design, precise construction, and work that does not rely on shortcuts, generic solutions, or compromise in the final object.
If you are considering a bespoke commission or want to discuss a piece in more detail, the first step is a focused consultation.
